Mrs. Prakairatana Thontiravong was honored by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, to serve as a guest speaker. The lecture, titled “Concepts of Conflict Management by Peaceful Means and the Management of Dispute Mediation Processes,” took place at the TK. Palace Hotel & Convention in Laksi District, Bangkok.

The session was a core component of the “Knowledge Enhancement Workshop for New Legal Officers and Acting Legal Officers,” organized by the Bureau of Disciplinary Standards and Merit System. Attendees included civil servants, government employees, and officials within the Ministry’s affiliated agencies.
The primary objective of this training was to equip legal personnel with a comprehensive understanding of disciplinary laws, procedures, and official tort liability. By enhancing these competencies, officers can apply their knowledge efficiently and effectively in their daily operations. Recognizing her profound expertise and extensive experience, the Ministry invited Mrs. Thontiravong to share her invaluable insights to ensure the program’s success and maximize the benefit to the public sector.

The Institute for Education and Development of Conflict Management by Peaceful Means Foundation (I.D.P.) expressed immense pride in contributing to the promotion of peaceful conflict resolution and mediation processes. The foundation remains committed to supporting the capacity building of public sector personnel, enabling them to apply peaceful principles for the greater benefit of society.
