the Institute for Education and Development of Conflict Management by Peaceful Means Foundation (I.D.P. Foundation), under the leadership of Mrs. Prakairatana Thontiravong, President of the Foundation, conducted a specialized academic lecture and practical training on the topic “Overview of the Mediation Act B.E. 2562 (2019)” and its application within the public health system.

The event was held at the Prajaktra Hotel in Udon Thani Province, and brought together healthcare professionals from Health Regions 8 and 10. It formed part of the official curriculum titled “Mediation and Conflict Management in the Public Health System”, which aims to build capacity among health personnel in managing conflicts constructively and applying mediation processes effectively in their professional roles.

Participants included doctors, public health officers, and administrative staff responsible for handling complaints and disputes across a wide range of healthcare institutions in the designated regions.

The training emphasized interactive, hands-on learning through structured workshops, enabling attendees to better understand their roles within the mediation process and to strengthen key competencies such as active listening, effective communication, and creating safe spaces for dialogue.
